Das Fenster is the oldest German language monthly magazine published in the U.S. We reach more German speaking people in America than any other German language magazine published here. We publish articles in German focusing on German culture and customs, travel, lifestyles and health , many of which are exclusive to Das Fenster in the USA!

Advertising Specifications
Das Fenster is published bi-monthly (6 X per year). Frequency discounts are based on the number of advertisements run in a contract year. Advertisers who increase their frequency will be rebated, and advertisers who cancel or fail to fulfill a contract will be billed the difference between the earned rate and the contract rate.

Bleed Pages
Full bleed pages are 15% over standard rate.

Production Services
Design and layout services, typesetting, color separations and other production services are available as well as translation services. Call for more information.

TERMS/CONDITIONS
Cancellations must be received in writing on or before the closing date. Verbal cancellations and those received after the closing date will not be honored. Orders for cover positions are not cancelable. Please write for next available cover dates. All rates subject to change without notice. Publisher reserves the right to cancel any advertisement at any time. Frequency must be indicated with first insertion order.

COMMISSION/CREDIT
Commission to recognized advertising agencies is 15%, provided account is paid within 30 days of date of invoice. 1 1/2% per month service charge added to past due accounts. Publisher retains the right to refuse any ad if account balance is not paid in total before publication of next issue. Any ad cancelled by advertiser prior to completion of contract will be short rated. All one-time advertising insertions are payable in advance unless credit arrangements are made ahead of time. New advertisers must establish credit by sending full payment with first order.

The liability of Publisher for any error, delay or omission for which it may be held legally responsible, shall in no event exceed the cost of the space paid for and occupied by the error, and in no event shall Publisher be liable for any loss of income, profit or any consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. The Advertiser and its Agency, if there be one, each represent in the insertion order and in the ad copy submitted to the Publisher under the insertion order that they are fully authorized and licensed to use: a. the names, portraits and/or pictures or persons, b. all and any copyrighted and/or trademarked material, and, c. any testimonials, contained in any advertisement submitted by or on behalf of the Advertiser and published in Das Fenster: further, the Advertiser and its Agency, if there be one, represent that there is nothing in any advertisements furnished the Publisher which is libelous or invades the privacy of any person, firm or corporation, or which is in violation of any anti-discrimination laws. As part of the consideration and to induce Publisher to publish any advertisement, the Advertiser and Agency, if there be one, each agree to indemnify and save harmless Publisher from any claim and all loss, liability, damages and expenses of whatsoever nature, including attorney’s fees, arising out of the copying, printing or publishing of each advertisement.
